Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Tasks
- Analyze performance latency and resource usage
- Build multi threaded distributed C C plus plus applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Conduct root-cause analysis for system failures
- Debug hardware, OS, middleware, and application issues
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded Linux software
- Develop communication middleware and system services
- Develop system initialization configuration and diagnostics
- Extend embedded software frameworks for new processors and hardware
- Implement fault detection graceful degradation and serviceability
- Integrate Linux kernel drivers and board support packages
- Integrate third party networked devices and design APIs
- Mentor junior engineers and lead code quality reviews
- Participate in design reviews and architectural discussions
- Perform hardware bring up integration with bootloader kernel and device tree
- Support verification and validation activities
- Use gdb JTAG logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for debugging
