Senior Infrastructure Database Engineer
Tasks
- Architect multi region high availability and disaster recovery
- Define API first self service database services
- Define and enforce SLOs/SLAs
- Define caching patterns and workload isolation
- Define service catalogs and golden deployment patterns
- Develop templates, playbooks, automation
- Drive capacity planning and performance optimization
- Drive reliability and efficiency improvements
- Enable Kubernetes operator based database management
- Establish reference architectures and design patterns
- Implement backup and restore frameworks
- Integrate with enterprise network compute and storage layers
- Lead database platform architecture
- Lead evaluation of blueprints and playbooks
- Mentor team members on enterprise standards and compliance
- Perform performance engineering sharding and partitioning
- Standardize connectivity security patterns
- Translate business requirements into reference models
