Senior Manager, App DBA – IT Infrastructure Services
Tasks
- Automate DBA processes and best practices
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams
- Define and implement best practices for database support
- Drive performance tuning and troubleshoot database issues
- Drive standardization automation and continuous improvement
- Ensure high availability and business continuity
- Ensure proactive communication on service performance and incidents
- Lead and manage Application DBAs
- Lead during incidents and outages
- Lead governance meetings and performance reporting
- Lead incident problem change and capacity management
- Manage database deployment during application releases
- Oversee schema design query optimization and database object management
- Provide strategic input on database architecture and roadmaps
- Serve as primary client liaison for infrastructure services
- Support capacity planning scalability and disaster recovery
- Translate client requirements into strategies
- Work with clients on project issues and requests
