Senior PostgreSQL DBA / Database Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Administer and optimize TimescaleDB
- Architect hybrid and multi cloud database platforms
- Automate database provisioning and upgrades
- Build highly available and fault tolerant systems
- Deploy and operate databases on Kubernetes
- Design enterprise PostgreSQL environments
- Enforce security, compliance, and governance
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
- Lead database migrations between cloud and on prem
- Maintain documentation and operational runbooks
- Manage PostgreSQL version upgrades and patching
- Mentor engineering and operations teams
- Monitor system health and performance
- Optimize queries and indexes
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
- Troubleshoot production database incidents
