Senior Snowflake Data Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze query plans and improve performance
- Architect solutions for performance scalability and governance
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Define data modeling standards and best practices
- Design and implement enterprise Snowflake architecture
- Design scalable ingestion frameworks for structured and semi structured data
- Develop orchestration workflows using Airflow and dbt
- Establish data lifecycle management retention and archival strategies
- Implement data quality checks validation and observability
- Implement monitoring frameworks for performance and usage tracking
- Maintain documentation for data lineage and architecture
- Optimize compute cost and storage management
- Optimize warehouse sizing and workload management
- Support batch and near real time ingestion
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across pipelines
- Tune ingestion processes
