Software Development Engineer — Storage
Tasks
- Automate lifecycle management for storage resources
- Build Storage as a Service with self service provisioning
- Build cross VPC and multi account network access
- Configure ONTAP SVMs and quota enforcement
- Define service level objectives and cost attribution
- Deploy and operate AWS FSx for Lustre
- Deploy and operate AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP
- Deploy storage infrastructure using AWS CDK
- Design high performance storage platforms
- Enable EFA for Lustre access
- Establish incident response for storage failures
- Evaluate and adopt new AWS storage features
- Implement intelligent tiering FabricPool
- Implement monitoring and observability for storage health and utilization
- Manage NFS exports
- Plan capacity scaling with silicon teams
- Profile IO patterns for EDA workloads
- Set snapshot policies and SnapMirror replication
- Synchronize data using AWS DataSync and S3
- Tune file system configurations for performance
