Software Engineer II - Embedded Systems & PCB Design
Tasks
- Collaborate on board form factor connector placement and enclosure fit
- Conduct hands on testing and troubleshooting on physical machines
- Design develop debug test embedded firmware for automotive service machines
- Ensure embedded software and PCB designs meet reliability and quality standards
- Generate fabrication and production drawings for PCB manufacture
- Interface software with sensors motors and control hardware
- Lead board level and component level testing to find root causes
- Own PCB design schematic capture layout and documentation in Altium Designer
- Perform code and design reviews and support DFMEA PFMEA
- Select components and support BOM generation
- Support concept to production launch and field support
