Sr. Embedded Software Engineer
Tasks
- Convert prototypes into documented repeatable deployment standards
- Design telemetry pipeline from sensors to edge monitoring
- Establish hardware and OS imaging provisioning and fleet updates
- Implement OS hardening disk encryption secure remote access network segmentation patch management
- Implement edge optimization algorithms for HVAC systems
- Implement reliability features watchdog failover offline recovery
- Integrate with building management systems using BACnet and Modbus
- Map points and configure gateways for BMS integrations
- Own edge platform for industrial control
- Own local time series data logging and buffering
- Partner with IT OT security teams for site security reviews
- Select configure and harden industrial PC hardware
- Specify procure build test benches and rapidly iterate prototypes
- Support field commissioning and troubleshooting
