Staff AI Engineer
Tasks
- Build RAG pipelines
- Build and evolve scalable ML platforms and pipelines
- Conduct design reviews and technical discussions
- Define AI engineering standards
- Design and integrate APIs at scale
- Develop evaluation frameworks and observability for LLM apps
- Drive model development and deployment
- Ensure reliability cost and safety in production
- Handle PII
- Implement prompt injection defenses
- Lead design and implementation of ML AI systems end to end
- Mentor and grow engineers through coaching and code reviews
- Optimize token economics using caching and model routing
- Own AI architecture decisions
- Partner with product engineering and leadership to shape AI strategy
- Translate AI tradeoffs risks and opportunities into clear narratives
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for deployments
