- Collaborate with development teams on database architecture
- Create and manage standard operating procedures
- Design and validate failover and recovery procedures
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools
- Ensure high availability and reliability
- Execute Blue Green Deployment upgrades and migrations
- Monitor database performance and analyze metrics
- Operate Amazon Aurora clusters in production
- Optimize queries and indexes
- Perform database maintenance upgrades and patching
- Plan capacity and recommend scaling
- Respond to incidents in on-call rotation
- Tune parameters for performance
