Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer
Tasks
- Architect modular reusable firmware frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware software and UX teams for requirements
- Define communication protocols for peripheral functionality
- Design implement and scale low latency RF wireless communication protocols
- Develop hardware in the loop and automated test systems
- Drive end to end firmware development integration validation and release
- Ensure cross platform reuse and scalability
- Establish firmware development practices code reviews CI/CD and testing
- Lead and mentor firmware engineers
- Own firmware architecture design from concept to production
- Prototype new features on new hardware platforms
- Support manufacturing builds and firmware bring up
- Support post launch product enhancements
- Troubleshoot system level issues across hardware firmware and RF domains
