Staff Software Engineer - Semantic Layer
Tasks
- Collaborate with dbt Cloud and dbt Core engineers
- Compile metrics into queries
- Design build and maintain MetricFlow features
- Generate SQL for multiple data warehouses
- Improve performance reliability and observability of metric queries
- Manage open source releases
- Mentor engineers through code review and pairing
- Translate customer and community feedback into shipped improvements
- Triages issues and review pull requests for MetricFlow
- Write technical documentation and RFCs
