Storage & Backup Architect
Tasks
- Administer Commvault backup and recovery environments
- Administer Dell EMC ECS object storage including tiering and capacity management
- Administer Dell EMC Isilon OneFS including snapshots replication and access controls
- Administer IBM Spectrum Scale GPFS clusters and ESS systems
- Administer Pure FlashBlade file and object storage including availability and performance analysis
- Build automation for backup and storage operations
- Design backup strategies for RPO RTO objectives
- Maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures
- Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs
- Monitor health patch and upgrade storage clusters
- Optimize Isilon performance and troubleshoot issues
- Optimize backup performance and retention policies
- Optimize distributed storage performance and governance
- Perform on call incident response and RCA
- Use Bash or Python for scheduling reporting and configuration drift checks
- Validate backup integrity with test restores
