Storage Solutions Engineer
Tasks
- Build storage automation using Ansible Terraform and REST APIs
- Build storage observability for capacity performance and health
- Build storage solutions for VMware Kubernetes and database workloads
- Design replication snapshot and backup strategies
- Design storage platforms across NetApp ONTAP Pure Storage and Ceph
- Implement SAN NAS and object storage
- Implement cloud tiered storage
- Implement data protection including ransomware protection
- Lead storage upgrades firmware lifecycle and security patching
- Manage storage performance and capacity planning
- Operate Ceph clusters
- Optimize storage costs using deduplication compression and tiering
- Troubleshoot storage array network and host issues
