Tasks
- Collaborate with IT teams for database virtualization and server support
- Coordinate storage arrays configuration and management
- Design configure deploy maintain SAN and NAS solutions
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Develop data archiving tiering and storage automation strategies
- Forecast storage growth for capacity planning
- Generate storage utilization performance and capacity reports
- Implement data deduplication compression and storage optimization
- Implement storage zoning LUN provisioning and volume management
- Maintain documentation of storage configurations and procedures
- Manage data backup and recovery ensuring data integrity and security
- Monitor and optimize storage performance for high availability
- Monitor storage performance utilization and capacity
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on SAN and NAS systems
- Prepare technical recommendations for storage upgrades and improvements
- Provide technical support for complex storage problems
- Troubleshoot storage connectivity performance and data integrity issues
