Tasks
- Administer Power BI and Microsoft Fabric platform
- Apply row level security and sensitivity labels
- Automate governance checks and operational reporting
- Build CI CD pipelines for Fabric artifacts
- Build data ingestion frameworks and pipelines
- Configure secure connectivity to data sources
- Coordinate incident resolution with Microsoft Support
- Design Fabric architectures
- Design and maintain On Premises Data Gateway clusters
- Enforce Power BI tenant governance and workspace settings
- Implement infrastructure-as-code
- Implement secret management with Azure Key Vault
- Integrate Fabric with enterprise data platforms
- Integrate source control with Fabric deployments
- Maintain runbooks and best practices
- Manage Power BI Premium and Fabric capacity
- Mentor team and establish platform standards
- Monitor and analyze capacity metrics
- Monitor logs telemetry admin APIs
- Optimize infrastructure for analytics workloads
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support
- Troubleshoot refresh failures throttling and memory pressure
- Tune gateway settings and connectivity
