Vice President, Senior Data Engineer
Tasks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and priorities
- Communicate technical decisions tradeoffs and risks
- Design Microsoft Fabric OneLake architecture
- Design dbt data models and transformations
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines
- Enable data-driven decision-making
- Enforce DevOps and CI CD practices
- Enforce code quality testing documentation and deployment
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
- Implement serverless processing with Azure Functions
- Integrate and transform data from diverse sources
- Lead design and implementation of asset management data pipelines
- Orchestrate pipelines with Azure Data Factory
- Own data governance security and lifecycle standards
- Provide technical leadership to internal engineers and offshore consultants
- Review and approve consultant delivered code and architecture
- Serve as technical escalation point
- Support portfolio holdings security reference and performance attribution
- Translate asset management concepts into data models
