Tasks
- Build behavioral systems using state machines and behavior trees
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Design and execute field tests data collection and post test analysis
- Design and integrate sensor data pipelines
- Develop motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Implement perception localization mapping SLAM and sensor fusion
- Implement safety critical patterns watchdogs fault detection safe stops
- Integrate ROS or ROS 2 with custom hardware
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers through code and design reviews
