Bio
I am currently a Research Fellow at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, affiliated with the Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. After studying physics (MSc) and musicology/philosophy (BA) at the Free University of Berlin and the University of Leipzig in Germany, I pursued a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Science in Leipzig, Germany, investigating possibilities and challenges of BOLD- and CBV-based (VASO) high-resolution fMRI methods for the mapping of cortical columns in humans. My current research builds on this foundation, advancing CBV-based imaging techniques and exploring the application of deep learning models to enhance the spatiotemporal specificity of functional imaging methods.
