- Align engineering execution with company strategy
- Define and lead organization wide technical vision and architecture
- Design implement review and operate production software
- Drive AI assisted agentic engineering best practices and guardrails
- Drive design and architecture of distributed cloud services
- Establish enterprise standards for scalability reliability maintainability security and testability
- Evolve batch pipelines to streaming first workflows
- Influence executive level product and platform decisions
- Own systems end to end and provide on call support
