Tasks
- Collaborate with shock tube experiments to interpret data and predict molecular properties
- Develop simplified reaction rate models under thermochemical non equilibrium conditions
- Perform ab initio quantum chemistry simulations for shock layer kinetics and radiation models
- Run steady Reynolds averaged Navier Stokes simulations for reentry aerothermodynamic performance
- Validate simulation results against experimental data and other computational approaches
