Data Center IT Support Engineer, Data Centre Operations
Tasks
- Coordinate with third-party vendors
- Diagnose Linux server issues
- Enforce security best practices
- Escalate and resolve technical issues
- Install and configure server racks
- Install infrastructure supporting AWS
- Maintain spare parts rotation
- Participate in power and cooling events
- Recover physical power issues on racks
- Remediate physical layer outages
- Replace server and network device parts
- Support remote hands and eyes operations
- Travel between data center sites
- Triage and resolve trouble tickets
- Troubleshoot servers and network systems
