BI Analyst
Tasks
- Automate repetitive Excel reporting tasks with macros VBA or Power Automate
- Build and maintain advanced Excel models using dynamic arrays
- Conduct advanced ad hoc analytics for business questions
- Coordinate analytics demand and manage change requests
- Create and maintain self service reporting solutions
- Design build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Develop data models and calculated columns in Power BI
- Develop statistical and analytical models for forecasting and scenario analysis
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes
- Implement row level security and workspace governance in Power BI
- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft 365 tools
- Lead migration from Looker Studio to Power BI
- Maintain data dictionaries and consistent definitions
- Perform data collection cleansing reconciliation and transformation
- Perform deep dive analysis to find trends anomalies patterns
- Productionize recurring insights into automated dashboards
- Support FP and A with budgeting forecasting and business reviews
- Translate raw data into structured insights for executives
- Use DAX for reporting requirements
- Work with IT and Data Engineering to ensure data availability integrity and access
