Back End Developer - Technical Lead
Tasks
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and async services
- Choose data stores based on access patterns and consistency needs
- Define service boundaries and data ownership
- Design NOSQL data models
- Design and develop backend services with Python and FastAPI
- Design and optimize RDBMS schemas
- Design distributed systems for partial failures
- Design end to end backend systems
- Drive performance cost and complexity trade off decisions
- Enable horizontal scaling
- Enforce SOLID principles and testability
- Handle concurrency background processing and IO heavy workloads
- Handle database migrations and backward compatibility
- Implement retries timeouts and idempotency
- Lead code reviews
- Optimize database indexing and query performance
- Own backend architecture and system design
- Produce architecture diagrams and technical design documents
- Select architecture patterns
