Staff Analytics Engineer – Customer Data Platform
Tasks
- Align analytics tool metrics with warehouse metrics definitions
- Build warehouse models for product analytics platforms
- Create behavioral and feature ready datasets for data science
- Define and govern product event taxonomy across services and applications
- Define and maintain canonical entities
- Define dbt conventions macros and documentation standards
- Define tests freshness expectations and data invariants
- Design models for feature adoption engagement and lifecycle behavior
- Design tenant safe models for multi tenant high concurrency workloads
- Detect and resolve data issues before impacting analytics or customers
- Ensure consistent scalable relationships between entities
- Ensure datasets stable versioned and reproducible for ML workflows
- Ensure event data reliability deduplication and usability
- Establish durable fact and dimension models
- Establish instrumentation contracts and naming standards
- Implement automated validation for event completeness and schema consistency
- Maintain modeling patterns for exploratory analysis and production use
- Own modeling patterns for event pipelines into warehouse datasets
- Provide standardized datasets for funnels cohorts retention and experimentation
- Review analytics engineering work for correctness clarity and maintainability
- Transform raw events into reusable behavioral datasets
