Position Title: Senior Specialist

Location: Bangalore – Electronic City

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Scope of the responsibility lies within PS Pricing Analytics

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• Senior Specialist lead the development, validation, and maintenance of robust workflows, pipelines, pricing models, analytics, and tools that transform data into market and pricing insights,

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develop, validate, and maintains digitized scalable, leverageable, and easy-to-maintain solutions of pricing models, analytics, KPI measurements, and tools which contribute to achieving our revenue, pricing, and margin objectives.
• Perform impact analysis on planned changes setting up associated performance indicators to measure effectiveness.
• Socialize and train the organization on digitized solutions demonstrating applicability to each functional group’s operations.
• Manage professional working relationships with all relevant Global functions to promote and support pricing analytics efforts.
• Develop plans and initiatives, lead projects (with and/or without formal authority), to result in improved processes and digitalization to address operational needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience (Business, Informatics/Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or similar)

Experience:

• Master’s with any certification in Data Science/Analytics like Microsoft, SQL, R and Python, Tableau
• Work experience of data system maintenance and data analysis
• Proficient English language skills
• Prior experience on Pricing

Technical Skills / Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management)
• 3-5 years of pricing domain experience
• Strong knowledge and know-how in ETL methodology, big data modeling and transformation (Apache SPARK with Spark SQL or Spark plus relational and NoSQL databases) as well data visualization tools (CSS & HTML and Tableau), strong expertise in at least one functional or object-oriented programming language (Python, Java or JavaScript)
• Experience working on Palantir – Foundry (good to have)
• Experience in large scale data analytics (1MM+)
• Proficiency developing VBA tools a plus.
• Capable of performing data analysis based on self-developed protocols and best practices.
• Strong ability to clean, manipulate, analyze, and visualize data with analytical and statistical tools.

ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS:

• Agile and flexible to adapt solutions to evolving business requirements. Strong communication skills to liaising with key stakeholders (Commercial, Franchise, GSA, Customer Excellence)
• Previous pricing experience.
