The Head of IT Analytics will be responsible for leading the analytics function within the IT department. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive analytics strategy, managing a team of data professionals, and collaborating with various departments to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Your day at Ferring

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for IT analytics in alignment with company goals.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, data engineer, and BI professionals.

• Align the needs across functional area to maximize value of the global platform and avoid duplication of effort.

• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to identify key analytics needs and opportunities.

• Design and implement data analytics solutions to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics initiatives.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and IT.

• Drive implementation of data governance framework for his area 

• Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Support new AI initiatives.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 15  years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience in managing and leading a high-performing analytics team.

• Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data quality principles.

• Experience of modern data stack architecture and technologies.

• Proficiency with analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, etc.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.

• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure , Databricks and PowerBI  is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
