Senior Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer
Tasks
- Architect enterprise data solutions in Microsoft Fabric
- Build medallion data architecture in OneLake
- Collaborate with analytics BI data science and application teams
- Design dimensional and semantic models for PowerBI
- Design lakehouse and warehouse architectures
- Enforce access control with RBAC
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Establish logging alerting and observability
- Implement ETL and ELT pipelines
- Implement data governance with Microsoft Purview
- Integrate operational source systems via Synapse Link
- Optimize performance, cost, and scalability
- Set up CI CD and DevOps for Fabric deployments
- Support incident response and root cause analysis
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture
