Position Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Manchester, Cheltenham or London

Role Purpose:

Data Validation Analyst (entry-level) will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data. This role involves analysing data and identifying discrepancies to maintain data quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. 

Responsibilities: 

• Data Validation: Ensure data accuracy by identifying inconsistencies through validation processes. 

• Investigation: Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies. 

• Data Management: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage and validate large datasets. 

• Independent Work: Work independently and remotely, handling confidential information with discretion. 

• Data Monitoring: Continuously monitor thorough data validation and verification to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

• Quality Standards: Comply with client quality standards and deadlines.  

• Collaboration: Work with privacy, security, and IT teams to understand customer privacy requirements and their impact on processes. 

What we are looking for in you: 

• Internship or project experience in data validation or data analysis. 

• Ability to manage large datasets. 

• Good communication and collaboration skills. 

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

• Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical and professional skills  

• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. (desirable but not essential) 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. (desirable but not essential)
