This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.

Summary

The Data Analyst is a role within our Strategic Solutions division that is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide valuable insights and support decision making processes. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to improve and optimize data collection, analysis, and interpretation. This role is also responsible for assisting with the analysis of business processes, workflows, and datasets to determine improvements or automations through our technology partners as well as thorough documentation of data workflows and processes.

Job Accountabilities

  • Process Improvement
    • Understands the “asks”, assumptions, dependencies and constraints of data processes and translate them into requirements and solutions.
    • Assists with the development of holistic solutions and key strategic plans through a deep understanding of the current and desired state of business.
    • Assists with the analysis, and recommendation of improvements to department business and data processes.
    • Creates process documentation for any data related workflows or processes.
    • Make recommendations around project scope to better meet business needs and end user requirements.
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging data analysis techniques.
    • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of data analysis.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and databases.
    • Assist with the proper implementation and governance of report and data access.
  • Technology Implementation
    • Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of the systems, applications, clients, users, and interfaces; understand key business drivers and needs of customers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
    • Assists with documentation of detailed user instructions and procedures around data management.
    • Helps maintain business "wish list" of report and data requests.
    • Develop training materials and programs for new functionality.
  • Data Analysis
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
    • Work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to define KPIs and metrics for initiatives.
    • Retrieve, analyze and glean meaningful insights from complex data sets and KPIs.
    • Automate the collection and analysis of data across multiple sources.
    • Perform exploratory data analysis to discover insights and trends.
    • Interpret data to identify key business trends and opportunities.
    • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Organize and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Identify and interpret trends / patterns. Deliver data in a useful and appealing way through storytelling and visualization techniques.
    • Extract data from various sources and organize in a proper format that can be easily understood.
    • Transform raw data into structured data. Share insights, recommendations, and conclusions with managers.
    • Generate holistic reporting, projections, and summaries.
    • Work with management to prioritize business, information, and reporting needs.
    • Tackle Ad hoc projects.

The base salary range for this position is $83,000 – $98,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
