Position Summary
•Responsible for GPO and local contract management within the MMIS system, report creation, data analysis, and MMIS system maintenance.

Note: We don’t directly work with an MMIS system. We work with the data in the ERP system that then is fed to our MMIS system. But SCM doesn’t touch MMIS, and we are working to get away from being the responsible party for inputting the MMIS important data into our ERP. ​

Education
•Bachelor’s Degree in business or healthcare management or a related clinical field preferred
•Associate degree in business or healthcare management or a related clinical field required.


Licenses and Certification

Experience and Skills

•Technical Experience: 2 years

Required

o Familiarity with Workday or similar ERP systems.

o Familiarity with data maintenance, preparing/cleaning, and quality assurance

o Intermediate Excel knowledge (Vlookups, basic formulas, formatting implementation, etc.)

o Communication with stakeholders with mindful interpretation and execution of their requests.

· Preferred

o Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)

Familiarity of Descriptive Statistics – KPIs

o Data storytelling/interpretation and presentation

Role Specific Responsibilities
•Builds and edits item master, PAR, template locations and supplier files in the MMIS system. · Maintains and updates item master, supplier files, pricing files, and templated catalogs in a timely manner.
•Creates item files in MMIS system in a timely manner as to support ‘bill only’ patient cases that could include EPIC and HCPCS codes. Remove this section, is included above.
•Assist Product Analyst with product builds, switches, and inactivation of items for product conversions and manufacturer discontinued items.
•Gathers, loads, and maintains, GPO, local, distributor, manufacturer, and vendor contracts in the MMIS system as well as the GPO catalog.

Works with the Contract Specialist and Functional Analyst to gather, prepare, monitor, and/or review GPO, Aggregate, and Local contract data.

· Responsible for assisting in loading prepared data into the ERP and GPO systems.

•Reviews latest updates, expiring and future contracts from GPO and local agreements and proceeds according to established standard operating procedures. Remove this section, is included above.
•Maintains a contract database/tracker as to easily see what contracts are up for review/renewal. Remove this section, is included above.
•Utilizes contract analytic tools and usage history from the MMIS (replace this with ERP) system to determine the appropriate contract tiers for new, expiring, and future agreements.
•Works closely with GPO representative to activate contracts and select the most appropriate tier pricing based on usage. Remove this section, falls under contract specialist role.
•Responsible for contract pricing uploads into the MMIS system. Remove, this section, included above.
•Utilizes contract tools and available resources to resolve contract and price discrepancies.Remove this section, included above.
•Utilizes GPO tracking reports to ensure the most up to date information is populated in the MMIS system.

· Responsible for executing contract pricing uploads, maintenance, post-processing evaluations, and discrepancy corrections in the ERP system.


•Responsible for gathering and preparing usage information spreadsheets for impact analysis and validation per request of GPO.
•Attends GPO supply chain meetings for contract updates and required action.
•Creates, utilizes, and maintains reports and queries for use in Supply Chain and clinical/non-clinical departments.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$48,235.20 - $74,755.20
