About the RoleAs an Eki Tech Intern, you will work on original projects that will have tangible contributions towards the Innovation plans of the company, as well as on client projects, across diverse industries.
The internship is designed to give you a true and realistic idea of who we are and the work we do, whilst building a technical data science skillset. From day one, you will be collaborating on client and internal R&D projects, helping us develop operational tools that will enhance the work that we do as Data Science Consultants in Business. As a technology intern, you will use and develop advanced programming, analytic skills and consulting skills throughout your time with us.
From discovery meetings to final recommendations, responsibilities include: ·        Helping to design and build tools for different functionalities; from data platforms to interactive dashboards, to automated ETL processes and other types of applications;·        Gathering, transforming and analysing data;·        Translating insights and functionalities into strategic recommendations and delivering the final results.
The projects will push you to create innovative approaches as an owner of your projects, and our close-knit team will guide your growth to build expertise on best-practice methodologies and industry knowledge. Each member of our team takes a vested interest in the development of your technical skills and business acumen.

Job Responsibilities1. R&D and tool construction·        Contributing to the development of new methodologies and offers, either for internal strategies or for client projects·        Develop a logical story combining data, industry knowledge and tool functionality to share actionable insights that will drive our and clients' businesses.·        Proactivity is encouraged! If there are projects/extensions put forward by the intern, they are seriously considered.
2.  Strategic partnerships with (internal and external) clients·        Gain a deep understanding of (internal or external) clients’ business context and experience;·        Deliver tools and battle plans with excellence and confidence;·        Provide ad-hoc analyses that further develop projects and client relationships by parameterising the business questions.
About YouWe are looking for people who are able to wear 2 hats – the data expert and the strategic consultant.
1. Data and Programming Skills·        Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, engineering, computer science or related analytical fields·        Some prior experience (academic or professional) in data analysis / visualisation / modelling / advanced analytics / tool building / computer science·        Love of all things data and technology·        Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Java·        Experience building tools that free up drudge process time, and help teams focus on value-add tasks·        Awareness of process automation
2.  Consulting Skills·        Prior internship in a consulting environment or interest in working as a consultant·        Interest in marketing and business that are enhanced by technology·        Exceptional written and oral communication skills·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting·        Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment, continuously striving for their best·        Good sense of humour!
3.  Additional Requirements:·        Students in their penultimate or final year of study.·        Must be able to work onsite in London, UK.·        Must have full right to work in the UK.·        Availability required from June 30th to August 29th, 2025.·        Must be able to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week).

Our recruitment process🔸Online technical test (HackerRank) 45 minutes to 1 hour.🔸HR Interview & Introduction to Ekimetrics 15-30 minutes.🔸Assessment with a Consultant - 45 minutes to 1 hour.🔸Case study & final assessment - 45 minutes to 1 hour.
