Staff Applied Scientist (Distribution Center Solutions)
Tasks
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on technical direction
- Design and implement demand forecasting and inventory decay models
- Develop multi echelon inventory control systems
- Ensure scalability reliability and maintainability of production systems
- Evaluate models using simulation and A B testing
- Integrate new AI optimization and decision science methodologies
- Lead AI ML research and development for replenishment optimization systems
- Mentor scientists and engineers on experimental rigor
- Optimize stochastic supply chain models
- Own end to end modeling lifecycle from research to deployment
- Translate mathematical concepts into production grade systems
