Tasks
- Build optimized semantic models and data models
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver BI solutions
- Create DAX measures and calculations
- Create Python scripts for automation and data processing
- Design dimensional models with star schema and snowflake schema
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Develop Power Query transformations
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
- Implement row level security and workspace governance
- Integrate data from enterprise systems
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Optimize Power BI performance with DAX query tuning and incremental refresh
- Set up deployment pipelines and CI CD for Power BI
- Troubleshoot reporting performance data quality and production issues
- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures
