Tasks
- Analyze source systems and rationalize databases
- Assess and migrate legacy data to Snowflake
- Build and optimize ELT frameworks using DBT
- Create reusable data validation and monitoring frameworks
- Design and develop data pipelines
- Design and implement data models
- Design migration strategies
- Develop and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow
- Develop ingestion pipelines for structured and semi structured data
- Ensure SLA adherence for operational support
- Execute cutover planning and post migration stabilization
- Manage incident problem change and release activities
- Monitor and manage production workloads
- Optimize Snowflake objects
- Perform code reviews
- Perform data reconciliation and validation
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
- Provide L3 production support
- Troubleshoot data failures and performance issues
- Write technical design documents and migration runbooks
