Director, Data Platform & Engineering
Tasks
- Build engineering culture for ownership and continuous improvement
- Define and enforce data contracts and event schemas
- Deliver trusted metrics reports and analytics
- Design and operate data serving architectures and APIs
- Lead real time and batch data platform strategy and execution
- Lead, mentor, and grow data engineering teams
- Modernize data platform architecture with streaming and lakehouse design
- Own ingestion storage and data serving layers
- Partner cross functionally to align platform investments to business outcomes
- Set performance cost reliability and observability standards
- Unify real time and historical data with data quality guarantees
