Storage and Back up Infrastructure Administrator
Tasks
- Conduct root cause analysis remediation planning post incident reviews
- Coordinate recovery events with infrastructure network security application database teams
- Coordinate vendor support cases hardware replacements software upgrades platform issues
- Maintain backup and recovery procedures
- Maintain documentation and operational standards
- Maintain storage configurations access controls snapshots replication data protection
- Manage enterprise backup platforms backup jobs schedules policies retention recovery workflows
- Manage enterprise storage solutions
- Monitor backup job success failure trends performance capacity
- Monitor storage health availability performance capacity
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Plan storage lifecycle upgrades migrations replacements
- Provide escalation support for availability data access backup failure recovery issues
- Provision expand modify decommission storage resources
- Serve as primary technical owner for storage and backup incidents
- Support change management with implementation validation and rollback plans
- Support disaster recovery planning testing documentation execution
- Support file system system level application level disaster recovery restoration
- Support replication snapshots immutable backup archival data protection technologies
- Troubleshoot backup failures missed jobs replication retention recovery errors
- Troubleshoot storage performance connectivity capacity replication issues
- Validate backups and perform recovery testing
