Senior Software Engineer , Query Processing, Munich
Tasks
- Collect statistics for cost based query optimizer
- Deliver high performance query execution features across teams
- Design build and maintain query processing and optimization engine
- Improve vectorized query engine performance
- Integrate query processing with storage and cloud indexing
- Participate in design discussions code reviews and performance investigations
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
- Support Iceberg open table formats for correctness and performance
