Data Center Operations Engineer, Data Center Operations
Tasks
- Coordinate with third party vendors and contractors
- Define uptime metrics
- Enforce security best practices
- Improve operational efficiency
- Install and configure racks per internal SLAs
- Perform 24x7 on call shift rotations
- Remediate physical layer outages
- Replace server and network devices
- Resolve trouble tickets for systems and network hardware
- Support data center power and cooling events
- Triage and resolve trouble tickets for devices
- Troubleshoot Linux servers
- Troubleshoot Xen virtualization services
