Senior Data Science Research Engineer (m/f/d) – Instrument Analytics

Tasks
- Apply statistics and machine learning to instrument data
- Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines
- Collaborate with instrument physicists firmware and software teams
- Ensure metadata and traceability across instrument software microservices and test systems
- Generate intellectual property through exploratory research
- Improve instrument calibration stability and performance
- Lead data-driven research initiatives
- Partner with production engineering operations and support on data capture and rollout criteria
- Prototype validate and iterate data analysis models in Python
- Reproduce hardware behaviors verify hardware configurations
- Run controlled experiments to validate algorithm changes
