Staff AI Engineer
Tasks
- Apply prompt injection defenses and PII handling
- Build RAG pipelines with retrieval and chunking
- Build scalable model development and deployment processes
- Define AI architecture and responsible AI practices
- Define AI engineering standards
- Deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and integrate APIs with internal and third party services
- Develop and optimize ML platforms pipelines and infrastructure
- Drive ambiguous high stakes work to production with reliability cost and safety
- Implement evaluation frameworks and observability for LLM apps
- Lead design and implement complex ML AI systems end to end
- Lead design reviews and technical discussions
- Mentor junior and mid level engineers through coaching and code reviews
- Optimize LLM costs with token economics caching and routing
- Own AI architecture decisions
- Partner with product and engineering to shape AI strategy
- Translate AI tradeoffs risks and opportunities into clear narratives
