Sr. Consultant, Data Governance
Tasks
- Advise business and data teams on governance best practices
- Align governance practices to records management and retention policies
- Analyze data issues and improve data quality practices
- Conduct training and user support to increase governance adoption
- Contribute to governance reporting and evidence tracking
- Enable governance workflows and process controls
- Identify opportunities to enhance governance processes and controls
- Improve auditability traceability and consistency of governance processes
- Maintain business metadata and data definitions
- Partner with compliance and legal on retention requirements
- Perform data validation and issue investigation
- Provide day to day support on governance tools and processes
- Provide recommendations to strengthen data governance controls
- Support AI assisted data classification and governance insights
- Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Support data classification and documentation
- Support data classification retention scheduling and defensible disposition processes
- Support definition and monitoring of data quality rules
- Support metadata and data lineage governance
- Translate business needs into governance solutions
