Staff Data Engineer
Tasks
- Architect build and maintain production ingestion pipelines
- Design implement and operate event driven streaming pipelines
- Drive adoption of engineering standards CI CD observability as code schema governance
- Establish reliability with KPIs SLOs monitoring and alerting as code
- Identify and resolve systemic pipeline inefficiencies
- Implement data quality with dbt tests anomaly detection schema drift alerts
- Mentor senior data engineers through design and code reviews
- Own bronze to silver data contracts schema governance and SLAs
- Own integration and data activation layer with connector pipelines
- Serve as DRI for multi sprint platform initiatives
- Support analytics data science and ML teams with platform capabilities
