Staff Data Engineer
Tasks
- Architect enterprise data ingestion and export
- Architect generative AI infrastructure
- Build and operate cloud data workloads on GCP
- Collaborate with product engineering and business teams on data strategy
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Define data platform technical roadmap
- Design scalable data APIs
- Design streaming and batch data architectures
- Develop MLOps deployment monitoring and governance
- Establish data governance quality standards
- Implement event driven and api first architectures
- Implement monitoring alerting and remediation
- Lead CI CD data pipeline practices
- Manage production API authentication authorization and versioning
- Mentor data engineers through design reviews
- Set engineering standards documentation and knowledge sharing
- Translate research into production ML solutions
