Senior Data Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Build scalable event driven applications
- Contribute to API service design and implementation
- Design and build scalable data ingestion and processing components
- Design and develop batch data storage and serving systems
- Design extensible software interfaces for internal consumers
- Lead cross functional initiatives with engineering and product teams
- Mentor peers and provide technical guidance
- Monitor and improve production systems for availability and fault tolerance
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for high throughput security and access
- Own and operate services in production including releases deployments and on call rotations
