Tasks
- Apply dimensional modeling with star schemas facts dimensions
- Build data ingestion transformation loading processes
- Collaborate with data architects to create logical and physical data models
- Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements
- Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Develop ingestion frameworks
- Diagnose pipeline performance issues and support production incidents
- Extract and ingest data from REST APIs relational databases flat files cloud storage
- Implement Snowflake objects databases schemas tables views streams tasks stages stored procedures
- Implement data quality validation monitoring
- Maintain pipeline documentation
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads ETL ELT processes SQL queries
- Optimize Snowflake virtual warehouses data sharing time travel
- Support Snowflake integration with Azure services
- Support data governance access controls masking policies
