Tasks
- Apply code coverage practices
- Automate unit tests in nightly builds using Python
- Create traceability matrix for software work products
- Design software components for distributed embedded systems
- Develop low level bare metal and RTOS software
- Develop serial communication protocols over I2C
- Develop serial communication protocols over SPI
- Develop serial communication protocols over UART
- Develop software component testing methodologies
- Develop test plans with V and V
- Ensure MISRA guideline compliance
- Implement real-time Ethernet communication
- Maintain documentation for firmware architecture
- Perform firmware validation testing
- Profile bus usage and optimize performance
- Profile power and CPU usage
- Specify requirements and design firmware
- Test firmware and low level software
- Verify software with hardware debugging and HIL
