Lead Database Engineer
Tasks
- Administer and optimize production database environments
- Automate provisioning patching monitoring and maintenance
- Collaborate with application infrastructure teams and vendors
- Define database administration standards and runbooks
- Document decisions tradeoffs and technical recommendations
- Evaluate new database technologies and configurations
- Handle database incident response and root cause analysis
- Implement backup, recovery, and high availability
- Manage database platforms on Linux and Windows Server
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
- Plan and deliver database infrastructure projects
- Provide progress updates to stakeholders
