- Chair system level design reviews and architecture reviews
- Decompose system functionality into testable requirements
- Define system architecture for surgical robotic platform
- Develop system architecture and subsystem requirements
- Drive cross functional integration across hardware software controls and clinical teams
- Drive design for reliability and Design of Experiments
- Ensure regulatory compliance FDA 21 CFR Part 820 ISO 13485 IEC standards
- Lead design control activities and documentation
- Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering team
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
- Manage reliability analysis and accelerated life testing support
- Own requirements lifecycle and traceability
- Partner with Human Factors engineering for usability and risk mitigation
- Perform system level risk management ISO 14971
- Support design transfer manufacturing readiness and post market surveillance
- Translate clinical user needs into system requirements
- Use MBSE and UML for architecture requirements and interfaces
