Software Developer / Data Engineer
Tasks
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines
- Build integrate databases and API data access layers
- Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure security and production deployments
- Collaborate with scientists on computational and data requirements
- Design and develop APIs and backend services
- Develop and support CI CD deployment pipelines
- Develop user interfaces for scientific workflows
- Document technical decisions and system architecture
- Implement ETL workflows data validation and quality checks
- Maintain and enhance existing applications
- Optimize data pipelines for performance reliability scalability
- Participate in code reviews
- Support incident response and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and pipelines
- Write clean well tested documented code
